There's More Than One Type of Graduation

We have approached the season where graduations are common. Students are graduating from elementary, middle, or high school.  The popular meaning of “graduate” is to pass a course of study or training.  Graduating from school requires commitment and focus. 

Another meaning of graduating is moving forward. In addition to a school graduation, you can move forward in other areas. Think of other ways that you have graduated or would like to graduate.  Maybe you moved forward by changing your behavior, forming a new habit, handling girl drama gracefully, standing up to peer pressure or refusing to follow a crowd that was moving in the wrong direction. Perhaps you started a new job, used your skills and talent to earn money, or developed new friendships. You graduated, too!

You will have many graduations throughout life. Celebrate yourself because you have moved to a new level!
